The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program provides free tax assistance to low income, disabled, homebound, and English as a second language taxpayers. University of Missouri students in the department of Personal Financial Planning program provide this service to individuals in the Columbia community. This student-operated medical clinic focuses on providing high quality patient care to uninsured residents of Central Missouri, while also advocating on behalf of our patients regarding access to medical care and other basic needs.
