Building Strong Families

Building Strong Families is a research-based educational program that can help you and your family identify and build on your strengths, face challenges, and make informed choices. Based on research showing family members can make significant changes in their behavior by focusing on strengths rather than problems, the goal of this program is to strengthen the family unit.

This program provides fast-paced, interactive sessions that help families learn from each other, making learning fun! Building Strong Families uses hands-on activities to involve participants and focuses on the following 6 topics:

  • February- Family Strengths
  • March- Managing Stress
  • April- Positive Discipline
  • May- Communication
  • June- Food and Fitness and Balancing Responsibilities
  • July- Goal Setting
